New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, [1954]. First edition of this rare book, only 5000 ever printed. Black shiny textured paper covered boards. Spine stamped in yellow. Near fine. A tight, clean copy. A couple of tiny nicks at top of front board and top of spine. Barely visible (see photo) / in very good dust jacket with $3.50 on front flap. Scrape on front panel above author's name. 3/4" tear with resulting creases at bottom of front panel. 1/2" triangular chip at bottom edge of back panel. A little blurring of print on both front and back flaps suggesting a quick brush with moisture at some time.
